Management Trainee Officer – WordPress & Shopify Developer 

We are hiring on behalf of our client for a Junior WordPress & Shopify Developer (MTO) based in Karachi. This is a great opportunity for someone early in their web development journey who is eager to build hands-on experience with real client projects and grow into an advanced developer role.

Job Type: Full-Time Schedule: Monday to Friday, 3:00 PM – 12:00 AM Location: Karachi (Onsite)

About the Role

We're looking for a motivated Junior WordPress & Shopify Developer with a basic understanding of website development and a strong interest in learning advanced development skills. The ideal candidate has 3–6 months of hands-on experience and is excited to grow within a fast-paced eCommerce environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist in developing and maintaining WordPress and Shopify websites
• Customize themes and templates based on project requirements
• Upload and manage products, pages, and content on Shopify stores
• Perform basic website optimization (speed, responsiveness, SEO basics)
• Troubleshoot website issues and fix bugs
• Collaborate with design and marketing teams for website updates
• Stay updated with the latest trends in web development and eCommerce

Tools & Skills

• WordPress (Themes, Plugins, Page Builders)
• Shopify (Store setup, product upload, customization)
• HTML, CSS, and basic JavaScript
• Page builders such as Elementor or WPBakery (nice to have)

Requirements

• Undergraduate / Graduate in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
• 6 months to 1 year of experience, with 3–6 months of hands-on development work preferred
• Willingness to learn and take initiative in a fast-paced setting
